Greenpack Maasdijk - Legnica is a packaging and distribution center specialized in packaging fruit and vegetables, with a focus on tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers. Our products come from the Netherlands and other countries. Once packaged, our products are sent to major supermarket chains all over the world. The headquarters is located in the Netherlands.
As a finance specialist you play an crucial role. Your responsibility lies in carrying out the daily administration of purchase and sales invoices and their payments. You will focus on the accounting and reporting tasks as well as changes in the processes to made. You will be based at our location in Legnica.
What will you do?
- Handling and processing of purchase and sales invoices
- Controlling invoices in terms of content, formality and accounting,
- Preparing and controlling bank payment instructions
- Entering accounting documents timely into the system
- Continuously collaborate with Greenpack's accounting and controlling departments in the Netherlands
- Preparing settlement statements
- Monitoring legal changes in the field of finance in Poland
- Supporting the accounting department in ongoing work
- Cooperating with other departments
- Identifying improvements opportunities and implementing them (for e.g. profitability and efficiency)
Who you are
- At least a relevant bachelor’s degree
- At least 3 years of experience in an accounting or reporting role
- Good knowledge of Polish and English (B1) in speech and writing
- Experience with Microsoft Business Central
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Solid organisational skill, good communicative skills, proactive and accurate
